QUESTION: Fees and Payment?
ANSWER: We do charge a small fee upon initial consultation. Follow-up consultations are at no charge.
Typical fees for procedures vary based on patient complexity.
They will be determined at the time of consultation once the patient and surgeon have agreed on the procedure best suited for the patient. Cosmetic surgery quotes are given over the phone but are only a rough estimate of general cost. All cosmetic surgery fees are due and payable at the time a service is rendered.
QUESTION: Deciding on Surgery?
ANSWER: Dr. kim will conduct a detailed consultation. During your consultation, you should discuss candidly your expectations about looking, feeling and functioning better after surgery.
Dr. kim will then discuss what variables may bear on your decision to have surgery.
He will explain in detail the specific aspects of your treatment, such as what techniques will be used, the roles of anesthesia and what you can realistically expect as a result.
Usually two visits may be needed.
QUESTION: What is a mommy makeover?
ANSWER: Essentially, a Mom’s Makeover is any combination of breast and body procedures that a lady may want to get to address changes in their body after pregnancy.
A patient may benefit from breast augmentation and liposuction.
Many patients, at the abdomen, who do not have excess abdominal skin, but have weakness of the abdominal muscles with a bulge, may benefit from an endoscopic, minimal incision tummy tuck. The most important thing is that we need to look at each patient as an individual and address that person's individual needs.

QUESTION: Am I a good candidate?
ANSWER: Good candidates have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. The Micool-S fat reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, the Micool-S procedure is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese. It is, however a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. QUESTION: How much does the Micool-S procedure cost?
ANSWER: The price for Micool-S procedures varies depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals.
QUESTION: How long is each session? How many sessions will I need?
ANSWER: Your Micool-S provider will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. The length of your Micool-S session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. You and your provider may schedule additional sessions in order to meet your goals.
QUESTION: Where does the fat go? Are the results permanent?
ANSWER: Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), they die. Over time, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.
QUESTION: What does it feel like?
ANSWER: As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.
QUESTION: Is the Micool-S procedure safe?

QUESTION: Are there any side effects?

ANSWER: You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.
